Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy
orthopedic and Sports Medicine
6 years experience
Brigitte Del'Homme danced all through high school and college and as a result, she was always curious about injuries and healing. Becoming a licensed doctor of physical therapy was, for her, founded in these early athletic interests. Today she treats patients with all joint and musculoskeletal disorders.
Brigitte holds a Doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of Southern California (USC), 2007 and a Bachelor of Science degree in physiological science from the University of Los Angeles (UCLA), 2002. She has worked in a variety of settings from home health to orthopedics. Brigitte has worked at Torrance Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Group since 2009 and chose this practice because of the "fun and pleasant atmosphere."
In her free moments she enjoys music, reading, and attending concerts. Being an athlete is still one of Brigitte's main interests: find her at the gym, running, or kickboxing nearly every day of the week. Because she knows first-hand how important it is to get back to life after an injury, she offers this encouragement to her patients, "Your past injury may be a story to tell, but your recovery is the story you live."
